Nitrox has become a mainstream gas used by scuba divers around the world for good reason! Nitrox allows divers to extend no decompression dive times with shorter surface intervals and with reduced risk of decompression sickness. Today nitrox fills are readily available almost anywhere in the world so it's easy to see why most divers today are certified as a Nitrox Diver!

Nitrox, also known as Enriched Air Nitrox (EANx), is essentially air which has been enriched with an additional amount of oxygen, up to 40%. The resulting gas mixture is perfect for the recreational diver especially when diving in depths between 60 feet to 130 feet. Nitrox is easy to use and no special equipment is needed so call today to start enjoying the benefits of nitrox diving!

Prerequisites: Must be a certified scuba diver, minimum 15 years of age. No additional experience is necessary.

The course tuition for the NAUI Nitrox Diver Program is $150 per diver, but a special training discount is available. Course tuition is just $100 when the Nitrox Diver Course is taken in conjunction with any of our Scuba Diver, Advanced Diver or Master Diver programs. Tuition includes the following:

All classroom and open water instruction.
All instructional material including the award winning NAUI Educational System with Nitrox Diver textbook, EANx Ocean Calculator, NAUI Dive Tables for EAN32 and EAN36, and additional support materials.
Registration fees for your NAUI Nitrox Scuba Diver certification card.
Membership in the DAN Student Member program (if not already a DAN member)
Free 6 month subscription to Dive Training Magazine (if not already a subscriber)
