| Lake Erie - Osprey Charters Join us aboard the Southwinds with Osprey Charters and Captain Mike Cocharan. The Southwinds is one of the premier dive boats on Lake Erie, providing divers with a safe and stable platform to reach many of the popular wrecks enjoyed by divers today. All dives for this charter will be within recreational limits of less than 130 feet. Nitrox or helitrox is recommended for all dives. Intended Dive Sites: Tradewind and Crystal Please note that listing of dive sites does not guarantee the site will be dived. Weather and water conditions on the day of the dive may require a different dive site. All divers will be required to have dive equipment appropriate for cold water diving. Even in mid-summer bottom temperatures can be expected in the mid 40s. This means full wet or dry suits and cold water regulators are a must. All dives aboard the Osprey Charter are advanced dives due to water temperature and depth. Divers must possess an Advanced Diver or higher certification. Divers lacking the proper certification must hire a dive guide for the day or be enrolled in a continuing education program and diving with an instructor. Contact the store prior to registration if you need a guide or have questions concerning our policy. Refund Policy: There are no refunds for missed dives. Refunds will be given if a charter is cancelled by Discover Diving or Osprey Charter
Directions to Osprey Charters: Take the I-90 to Exit 60. Pass through the toll gates and make a right hand turn at the end of the ramp. Take N. Portage Road approximately .1 mile to the end of the road. Turn right into the marina.
